Eva by Eviqa

Meet Eva.

Eva is the AI inside Eviqa Assure, built by a clinically led team for care providers. She reads what your team records and suggests what to look at next, with a short reason for every suggestion. You stay in charge: nothing is used until a person confirms it.

Early warnings

The pattern behind the records, with every point linked.

Assure's rules spot repeat falls, rising incidents, restraint or PRN use creeping up, incidents bunching at one time of day, and restrictions still in use past their review.

Eva then reads the records behind a warning and tells you the common thread, what seemed to help and what is worth checking, citing each record. She can also look across 90 days of notes for themes the rules can't see.

Every warning is decided by a manager: seen, make an action, or not a concern with a reason.

Eva today

What to look at first this week.

On the manager's dashboard, Eva gives a short brief: where to start, and why. It is built from the warnings and records already in Assure, so it changes as your service does.

Incident assistant

A second pair of eyes on every incident note.

When a carer writes up an incident, Eva suggests the category and severity, and flags likely CQC, safeguarding, RIDDOR and Duty of Candour notifications, each with a reason.

Built-in safety rules run on every note as well, so serious signs such as a head injury on a blood thinner are always flagged. Suggestions only the AI raises are shown as "worth considering". A manager confirms every notification.

More of what Eva does today

Every draft is reviewed and edited by a person before it is used.

Drafts for managers

A Duty of Candour letter, a learning review with root cause and suggested actions, and a staff reflection sheet for supervision.

Governance meetings

A summary of your meeting from its data pack of figures.

Monthly governance report

A first draft of the narrative from your figures, with any number not in the figures flagged.

Evidence for inspection

Suggestions for which CQC quality statements a record supports, for a person to confirm.

Behaviour support reviews

Notes for a positive behaviour support review from a person's behaviour patterns: what tends to come before, early signs and what helped.

Competency warnings

Incidents linked to a delegated task, and tasks with too few staff signed off, raised before they reach the rota.

Privacy and safety

How Eva keeps you safe.

  • Processed in the UK, in Amazon Web Services' London region only.
  • Names removed first. Names, NHS numbers, dates of birth, addresses and contact details are taken out before anything reaches the AI.
  • Never used for training. Your data is never used to train models.
  • Off until you switch it on, and you can switch it off at any time.
  • Reasons, not black boxes. Every suggestion shows its reason, and every decision is made and recorded by a person.
  • Clinically led. Every AI feature has a hazard log entry, a clinical safety review and a data protection impact assessment before it is switched on.

Coming next

  • Ask Eva: questions about your own records, with every answer linked to them.
  • Voice notes.
  • Behaviour and restrictive practice insight against reduction goals.

Eva is switched on for each organisation once our final safety checks are complete.
